2025 Art Entries Conditions of Entry 

  1. Entries must be the unaided original work of competitor and must have been painted within the last 12 months and not previously exhibited at an Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival. Artworks must be able to be hung.

  2. Each entry must be clearly labelled on the back with the following details, otherwise they will not be hung.
    • Title of work
    • Specify correct category for judging
    • Price of artwork
    • Name, address and telephone number of artist
    • Cord attached on back of frame, with staples or similar – ready for hanging. NO SCREW EYES please!
  3. Entry fees are to be paid with entry form, $15.00 per painting with a limit of 3, by the closing date Friday 9th May 2025.
    Failure to comply will result in omission from the catalogue. The committee reserves the right to not hang the work.
  4. The greatest care will be taken with all paintings, but no liability will be accepted for loss or damage in transit, or while on exhibition.
  5. Artists must make arrangements for delivery and collection of all works. This is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Collection of unsold paintings between 4.00pm and 5.00pm Sunday evening only (25th May 2025).

  6. Wet entries and frames and entries marked N.F.S. (not for sale) cannot be accepted.
  7. 25% commission will be charged on all work sold during the exhibition, with payments made as soon as possible, after Festival.
  8. Judging will take place on Friday 23rd May 2025 and the winner will be contacted by phone. Judges decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  9. Exhibits may not be removed before the exhibitions closes on 25th May 2025. Collection of unsold works is between 4.00pm and 5pm on Sunday evening upon sighting receipt.

  10. Art entries are to be delivered to the Oyster Bay Public School, (infants site ) Phillip street, Oyster Bay. On Thursday 22nd May 2025, noon – 4:00pm only. No work will be accepted before Noon.

  11. The Art & Craft Festival will be held regardless of weather conditions.
  12. A maximum of 1 oversized painting per artist will be accepted (oversized painting width must not exceed 150cm). Art size limit for a standard entry is  80cm width including the frame. A series (i.e. diptych / triptych) is regarded as an oversized entry. Only one series per artist will be accepted.
