A Little History

The Oyster Bay Arts & Craft Festival has been a beloved community tradition since it first began in 1970.

Every year, Oyster Bay Public School transforms its grounds on the last weekend in May into a vibrant arts and craft hub, attracting thousands of visitors along with talented artists and unique stallholders from near and far. Over the decades, the festival has played a vital role in raising funds that support key school resources, helping enhance learning opportunities for generations of students.

The festival opens with a ticketed Friday Night Launch Event for OBPS parents and invited guests — a lively evening of auctions, entertainment, and an exclusive first look at the art and crafts on display.

On Saturday and Sunday, the festivities continue as the gates open to the wider community. Visitors are invited to explore the curated Art Gallery, browse boutique stalls, enjoy rides and games, take part in raffles, and experience special performances from the Oyster Bay Public School bands, choirs, and dance groups.
