Saddle Up, Oyster Bay!

Friday night is going full country! We’re throwing the biggest Hoedown the Shire has ever seen — a night of live music, great drinks, mechanical bull rides, lasso challenges, and good old-fashioned country fun. Best of all, it’s all in support of Oyster Bay Public School.

This is a sell-out event, so grab your boots, dust off your hat, and don’t miss your chance to be part of the hoedown everyone will be talking about.

Drinks & Food Partners

We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning partners to the hoedown! Our favourite beer local, Sunday Road Brewing are once again helping us out, Calabria Wines will be pouring fine wines, while Scylla Distilling Co will be shaking up their signature cocktails to keep the good times flowing.

On the food front, we’re excited to have Stapletons Quality Meats and Dose Hospitality serving up delicious bites to keep you fuelled throughout the evening. While working behind the scenes we have our drink and food kept cold by our local supporter and sponsor Zero Refrigeration.

Come hungry and get ready to enjoy a fantastic mix of flavours as you soak up the Friday night atmosphere.

Live Music & Entertainment

The night kicks off with The Lonely Grifters, featuring two of our very own OB dads. Then get swept up by The Rhinestones Rodeo, before Red Light Ruby bring the dance floor alive for the rest of the evening - with Liv Brown joining the lineup to keep the energy high and the good times rolling. And we can thank Five Peas Production for working behind the scenes to keep the sound and lights just right.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Step up and compete in the Country Cup with mechanical bull rides, lasso challenges, and ring toss fun. Round up your friends, dress country, and show off your skills — all while raising funds for our school community.
